What Are CDE's?FFA Career Development Event, or CDE's, are contests that members compete in to test their skills learned through agricultural education instruction. Twenty-four CDEs cover job skills in everything from communications to mechanics. Some events allow students to compete as individuals, while others allow them to compete in teams. There are several levels that members compete in. They include; county, sub-district, district, state, and national.
